A trip to Argentine Patagonia and Torres del Paine, Chile around September 2016.

Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrived in Buenos Aires at night.
Day 2 - Spent 1 day in Buenos Aires.
Day 3 - Flew from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia early in the morning. Hiked up to Martial Glacier to get a nice view.
Day 4 - Went to Tiera del Fuego Nationak Park and spent the day there.
Day 5 - Walked around Ushuaia in the morning. Tried to find some glacier walk to do but not available yet as still in low season, so flew to Calafate in the afternoon.
Day 6 - Went to Perito Moreno Glacier (Los Glaciares National Park) in the morning. Around sunset, rented a bike and cycled from the end of the town along the lake in Calafate.
Day 7 - In the morning, went to El Chaltén, a popular spot for hiking or trekking. Went up a short hike to get a nice view of the town.
Day 8 - Rainy in the morning, not good for any hiking, so rent a bike and cycled from end of town along the road to Lago del Desierto.
Day 9 - Cloudy with some rain, so took the Laguna Torre trail.
Day 10 - Still Cloudy and rainy. Took a bus tour to Lago del Desierto, then hiked a short trail with a very nice lagoon, with icebergs floating, suddenly appeared at the end of the trail.
Day 11 - Good weather finally came, so took the Laguna de Los Tres hike to get the best view of Mt. Fitz Roy and the surrounding glaciers.
Day 12 - Weather in El Chaltén was not that great, but on the other side Torres Del Paine area in Chile was going to be good in the next couple of days. So decided to went back to Calafate and from there to Puerto Natales, Chile, which is the gateway to Torres Del Paine National Park.
After some hassles, started driving to Puerto Natales in the late afternoon. Somehow a gruesome, long but memorable drive, crossed the border and arrived at the seaside quiet town. It was mid-night in bleak darkness already.
Day 13 - Middle of no where in darkness the night before turned into a colourful seaside small town when I opened my eyes in the morning. Exchanged some money, bought some food, get a map and drove to Torres Del Paine National Park. Not possible to do any hiking as already in afternoon, so spent the rest of the day drove around various scenic spots in the park.
Another somehow gruesome, long but memorable drive back to the seaside town of Puerto Natales in the late evening.
Day 14 - Woke up a bit late and started the trip to Torres Del Paine National Park again. Took the Mirador las Torres trail, one of the most popular day hike trails in Torres Del Paine.
Day 15 - Walked around to get the last glimpse of the beautiful quiet seaside small town in the morning, then hit the road to cross the border back to Calafate, Argentina. Another non-stop, gruesome, long but memorable drive. Took the flight from Calafate to Buenos Aires at 5:00pm and then from BA back to Hong Kong at 12:00am mid-night.

I took the photos here using my iPhone, LG Smart Phone and a SLR camera. A few photos been rotated and brightness slightly changed. In most cases, no post-processing or programming manipulation being done after shot. I tried to keep them as it was, and nature looks as good as they are; and I believe it was even better.
